Content Policy

How we source, write, and stay compliant.

1. Sourcing Standards

• We summarize, never reproduce. We read original articles, press releases, and filings, then write our own summaries. We do not copy and paste full paragraphs.
• Every claim cites a source. Funding rounds link to the announcement or SEC filing. Product launches link to the company page or GitHub repo. Policy news links to the government document.
• No fabricated content. We do not invent companies, products, funding amounts, or quotes. If we cannot verify a claim, we label it as unverified or omit it.
• AI-generated summaries are fact-checked. We use AI tools to draft summaries, but a human reviews every claim against the original source before publishing.

2. Copyright Compliance

• Fair use. Our summaries, commentary, and analysis constitute fair use under U.S. and international copyright law. We transform original works by adding context, analysis, and regional perspective.
• No full reproduction. We never reproduce full articles, white papers, or research reports. Excerpts are limited to a few sentences for commentary purposes.
• Images. We use original graphics, public domain images, or properly licensed stock photos. We do not screenshot or reuse proprietary images from news outlets without permission.
• DMCA. If you believe we have used your copyrighted material improperly, contact us at hello@indochina.ai. We will review and remove promptly if the claim is valid.

3. Transparency

• Corrections. When we make an error, we publish a correction in the next issue and update the online archive.
• Opinion vs. fact. Analysis, predictions, and recommendations are clearly labeled as opinion. Facts are attributed to sources.
• No payola. We do not accept payment to feature companies or products. Sponsored content, if ever offered, will be clearly labeled.
• Affiliate links. If we ever use affiliate links (none currently), they will be clearly disclosed.

4. Investment Disclaimer

Nothing in this newsletter is investment advice. We are not registered investment advisors. Do your own diligence before investing in any company, product, or opportunity mentioned. Past performance of mentioned companies does not predict future results.

5. Privacy

• We collect only your email address for newsletter delivery.
• We do not sell, rent, or share subscriber data with third parties.
• We use Resend for email delivery. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Unsubscribe anytime by replying with "unsubscribe" or clicking the link in any email.
